B ..... Book Finished

Here is an update for my blog Followers xx
I Have finished Breaking the Silence by Diane Chamberlian

WOW what a read !! I will definately read others by this author.... The storyline is brilliant, flits from now back to 50's and 60's. The Woman is asked by her dying father to look after lady in an old persons home she is suffering from Alzheimer's... she finds out her father has paid for her care for years!

She tells her husband, her father has died and that she will visit this lady to see why her father had been paying for her care... on her return she finds her daughter at bottom of the stairs unable to talk and her husband has shot himself.

The husband is not her daughter's father...she starts the search for the lady and her daughters father ...she finds both and more.. but at what cost?

The book is a roller coaster ride.... The daughter is mute ... lots of riddles and red herrings ....The elderly lady helps her mute child BUT she also helps the woman.

Great twist to a great book ....nothing seems to be as it is, no character is who they seem to be... confused you will not be....great outcome ... I would recommend this book because of the outcome ....I will not spoil the end  BUT it is a GREAT read !!!

I'll Update again soon with details of my next book for the letter "C"

Its going well

Well I have finished my first book "A Bessing in Disguise"  and it taugtht me that "the grass is never greener on the other side"

The young girl wanted every thing she could not have and did not realise she had better

She wants her father, nightclub owner and drug pusher and all round bad sort, she has aunt and uncle who love her teach her right from wrong and feeds and clothe her. It takes the death of half-sister and a bullet to tell her that all she needs is love from those that love her.

All children should read this it teaches so much about growing up ....It took me back to days when I had to look after my mother instead of playing with friends. I'm so glad I cared for my mother she taught me so much more about life and right and wrong.

My next book "Breaking the Silence" is well underway and I'll be back with a review of this one too !!

Moving onto "B"

Just updating quickly to say I have finished A Blessing In Disguise !!

My review will be on blog in the next few days

So moving onto "B"

Breaking the Silence by Diana Chamberlian

Chamberlain (The Escape Artist) explores psychiatric tensions in this disturbing story of dark secrets and redemption. Before astronomer Laura Brandon's father dies, he asks her to visit Sarah Tolley, an elderly woman he's never before mentioned. This seemingly simple request sets off a series of alarming events, most dramatically the suicide of Laura's husband, Ray, and the subsequent emotional withdrawal of her five-year-old daughter, Emma. Laura tries to help her daughter by contacting Emma's birth father, Dylan Geer. Laura and Dylan's affair had been short-lived, and Dylan never knew he had a child. A bond is formed when the three get together, and Dylan decides to help Laura solve the mysteries. Despite minor flaws (the connection between Sarah and Laura's husband is obvious early on), the story offers relentless suspense and intriguing psychological insight (Chamberlain is a former psychotherapist) as well as a satisfying love story.

I am so intriged !!!
